Most homeowners have their roofs inspected before selling their home of after they have bought a new one. Branches

If you have trees above your roof, you need to be constantly aware of fallen branches on the roof. Depending on how high they fall from, they can cause a lot of damage to the shingles on your roof. The branches can also get under shingles and the next time there is a strong gust of wind, the branch could take off the shingle(s).

Weather

Strong wind and hail are common weather conditions we face here in the Port Charlotte area but these and other severe weather can cause severe damage to your roof. If you have experienced a severe storm recently you might want to make a phone call to your local roofing company and have us inspect its condition.

Animals

Animals like squirrels, racoons and birds like to make their home in the crevices of your roof. Unless you are checking regularly and thoroughly, you may never know that they have taken up residency in the corner of your roof or even your attic. They can easily puncture holes in the shingles letting water in the next time it rains.
